At a cozy café table in the gentle calm of the afternoon, surrounded by the quiet hum of conversation and the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee, we met with Susan Tarrant, Development Manager of AutismBC.
This meeting was more than an introduction. It was the beginning of a shared story — one about creativity, empathy, and belonging.
As we opened the pages of Scented Pages Workshop, we introduced Susan to the heart of our brand, where literature, art, and music come alive through scent. Each of our three collections tells a story carried by fragrance, reflecting emotions once captured in a painting, a melody, or a timeless novel.
Over coffee and conversation, we shared how every bottle is crafted not only with care, but with the spirit of young creators who believe beauty can serve a purpose. We spoke about our mission — that with every product sold, $5 is donated to AutismBC, supporting their meaningful work in building inclusive and creative communities for individuals on the autism spectrum.
To make the afternoon even more memorable, we played a small scent-and-emotion game, matching fragrances to feelings. Laughter and curiosity filled the space as Susan joined us with warmth and genuine enthusiasm. Her kindness and radiant energy made every moment brighter. She listened, reflected, and celebrated the story behind every detail.
When she held our gift boxes, with their carefully blended perfumes, vintage-style books, and storytelling cards, she saw more than products. She saw a connection — a bridge between imagination and impact.
As the daylight softened across the café windows, we handed Susan a donation cheque, a symbol of our gratitude and commitment to supporting AutismBC’s inspiring mission. She left us with a smile that carried encouragement and hope, reminding us that creativity and compassion are simply two expressions of the same heart.
At Scented Pages Workshop, our fragrances will continue to tell stories, yet from this afternoon onward, they will also carry a quiet promise —
to give, to include, and to let every scent whisper the essence of connection.
